ABOUT US
The Pender Community Center is a 37,000 square foot facility built on the site of the former Pender Legion Hall. It features an event hall with a stage, full kitchen, two community rooms and a multi-purpose room with walking track and basketball/volleyball courts. Pender Community Center also houses the Pender Legion Post and VFW meeting room. Tenants in the Pender Community Center include; the Village of Pender Offices, Anytime Fitness and Little Sprouts Child Development Center.
Construction of the Pender Community Center began in the summer of 2016 and the doors opened in December 2017. Funding for the Pender Community Center is entirely from grants and private donations. SEATING FOR EVENTS:
The event hall portion of the facility can seat up to 400 people on 8-foot rectangular tables. Another configuration with 5-feet-in-diameter circular tables seats up to 296 people.
The multipurpose room can seat up to 832 people with rectangular tables and 640 with round tables.
There is also a community room that can be rented as a full room or a half room. The full room can accommodate 112 people with rectangular tables and 72 with round tables. The half room occupancy is 58 with rectangular and 36 with round tables.
